Characterization Of Lentiviral Vectors Using Capillary Electrophoresis Platform Technology

This content is brought to you by SCIEX, a Danaher Operating Company.
Viral vectors are critical components of cell and gene therapy products, and they require extensive characterization to ensure their safe and effective use. Capillary electrophoresis is a proven technique for characterizing viral proteins and their encapsidated genomic material. This presentation, delivered in partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, will introduce the applications of lentiviruses in cell and gene therapies, as well as outline the important analytical characteristics associated with these viral vectors. The audience will learn how platform capillary electrophoresis techniques for proteomic and genomic profiling can be applied to lentivirus samples for their characterization and in-process monitoring.
Learning Objectives
- Outline the analytical characteristics of lentiviral vectors
- Evaluate the capillary electrophoresis platform method for protein profiling and p24 based physical titer
- Examine lentiviral vector genome material with a standardized CGE-LIF method
