Paramount Filtered Enclosures use carbon-based filter cells to rid the work area of hazardous fumes and vapors. Carbon filters designed to NIOSH standards are available for adsorbing or treating acid gases, solvents, ammonia and formaldehyde. Paramount Duet Filtered Enclosures use both carbon-based and HEPA filter cells that rid the work area of both gaseous and particulate contaminants.

Protector Work Stations are designed specifically for the needs of histologists and pathologists. Models are available that use carbon filters that adsorb formaldehyde or organic solvent vapors. Other models duct to the outside.
