Brightwell Introduces New MFI 5000 Series Flow Microscopes
The newest line of Micro-Flow Imaging (MFI) instruments – the MFI 5000 series – was released recently. The MFI 5000 platform is the next-generation of Brightwell's successful MFI instruments that are used by pharmaceutical companies world-wide for analyzing sub-visible particles in bio-therapeutics.
MFI instruments have become the first choice for pharmaceutical scientists due to their exceptional performance, ease-of-use, reliability and the excellent support provided by Brightwell's team of experts. The MFI 5000 platform includes additional automation to further streamline the setup process and is packaged in an integrated format that reduces the bench-top footprint. Most importantly the MFI 5000 may be seamlessly integrated with the existing and popular 4000 series of instruments. This provides customers with equivalent performance using either platform, which is crucial for continuity in formulation development and qualify control programs.
Clark Merchant, MFI Product Line Manager, comments "We are very excited about the launch of the MFI 5000 instruments. Brightwell has been working with customers for several years to ensure our instruments meet their high expectations for performance and reliability. The MFI 5000 platform is another important milestone in the development of a robust family of imaging particle analysis instruments suitable not only for the research laboratory but also the challenging drug manufacturing and quality control environment. We will continue to lead the industry in flow microscopy technology advancement and look forward to further exciting announcements in 2011."
