Biotechnology Graduate Student Symposium Awards

This award is designed to recognize excellence in graduate education in the fields of pharmaceutical biotechnology. Students will be selected to participate in the symposium by the AAPS Selection Committee on the basis of abstracts submitted to the committee. On the basis of submitted abstracts and summaries, students will be selected to present their research during the Graduate Symposium at the 2011 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference. Selection will be made on the basis of those students judged by the committee to have provided the most outstanding contributions in the above fields through their graduate research. Each student selected will receive a cash award of $250.00 and a complimentary registration National Biotechnology Conference, California, May 16-18, 2011. In addition, travel expenses will be reimbursed (maximum $1,000 domestic/$1,500 international) following the meeting.
