The ACIS Her2/neu automated cellular imaging system utilizes color recognition technology that exceeds the sensitivity of the human eye. The assay employs an objective endpoint that accurately mirrors the level of HER2 protein expression. The product recognizes 256 levels of staining intensity and converts these to fractional scores. Scoring with the system allows users to produce accurate and reproducible assay results, which may be used with greater confidence.
