The cDNA Integrity Kit contains six primer sets that amplify specific regions of four different commonly expressed genes (Clathrin, GAPDH, S6 and L3). Universal PCR conditions provide amplification of all six primer sets in a single cycler run.
The kit offers an accurate method of evaluating cDNA preparations to determine the presence of full-length and extended transcripts prior to their use. Results can be obtained from any single or double-stranded cDNA synthesized from human, mouse or rat cells and tissue.
Generation of product using the 3' primer sets indicates that the gene is expressed in your system; generation of product using the 5' primer sets indicates full-length, intact cDNA.
