The BPS-4C and BPS-8C Bath Perfusion Systems control up to four and eight 12V valves respectively
The BPS-4C and BPS-8C Bath Perfusion Systems control up to four and eight 12V valves respectively. Each valve can be operated by a manual toggle switch (ON, OFF and MOMENTARY ON) or via computer control.

In the BPS-4C, computer control can be achieved by TTL signals (Signal high = valve on), and any number of valves may be on simultaneously.

In the BPS-8C, valves are controlled with a BCD (binary coded decimal) code that allows four inputs to control eight valves. A particular valve opens when the combination of inputs matches the specific valve's code. One of the four lines is an enable line that allows the code 0,0,0, to be used. Therefore, eight valves are controlled by three inputs with a fourth input added as an enable. In the BCD mode, only one valve can be opened at a time. Manual mode permits multiple activations, and any number of manually activated valves can be run while a valve is controlled in BCD mode.

Both models have individual LEDs that light to indicate valve status, in addition to a power-on LED for the box. The dust-proof, splash-proof, enamel coated, solid die-cast aluminum case housing each unit has a rear panel featuring four BNC male connectors, ON/OFF power switch, DC input from the power supply (included) and chassis grounding lug. The BPS-4C includes a 5 pin DIN connector for power output to valves, while the BPS-8C includes a 9 pin DB connector.
