Applied Test Systems, Inc. (ATS) is a leading manufacturer of precise, affordable equipment for materials testing and process heating.

Established in 1965, the company has grown considerably and now produces eleven major product lines including universal testing machines, creep testing systems, testing accessories, furnaces, ovens, industrial furnaces, heating elements, ultrasonic reference standards, pressure testing systems, asphalt testing equipment, and sealant testers.

ATS has become recognized for its expertise in high-temperature testing with a line of furnaces and ovens that are designed for ready integration with any of our creep testing systems and universal testing machines, as well as with testing machines from other manufacturers.

ATS's main subsidiary, Electro Heat Systems (EHS), which was acquired in 1991, is a major supplier of heating elements and also builds large, custom electric furnaces for a multitude of industrial applications. The EHS manufacturing facility is located in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
