MSCs have become an established option for steroid-refractory and high-grade aGVHD, which puts pressure on manufacturing to deliver consistent product at scale. This application note tests a fully closed, automated workflow for umbilical cord MSCs, from harvest and washing through formulation and cryobag filling. It reports viability and recovery figures across cell quantities from 1E8 to 3E10, filling accuracy by volume range, and density uniformity before and after thawing. A commercial production batch of roughly 50 billion cells, filled by eight dispensing modules across five rounds, shows how the system performed under real operating conditions.

Explore the performance data to see how the results compare with your own process requirements.
