Source: Amherst Process Instruments, Inc.
Purchased by TSI Incorporated in October of 1998, Amherst Process Instruments, now part of TSI Particle Instruments Division, offers total system solutions for particle size, protein characterization, powder flow, and spray analysis with products designed to improve our customers' competitiveness and growth in an ever changing market place.

With high-resolution powder sizing using proven aerodynamic time-of flight technology, the Aerosizer® particle size analyzer compliments TSI's extensive line of particle size analysis instrumentation.

The Aero-FlowTM automated powder flowability analyzer provides indexes of powder flowability and cohesivity.

With these products, TSI now offers a broad range of unique particle characterization instruments for a wide variety of applications, such as dry powders, inhalation pharmaceuticals, proteins and aerosols, with an emphasis on high-resolution quantitative results and simple operation. Single particle counting technologies provide high-resolution particle size analysis from 3 nanometers to 700 microns. Multi-parameter instruments provide information covering size, shape, charge and composition of particles and powder flowability. Patented dispersion systems allow analysis of a wide variety of materials with little or no sample preparation.
