Ace Glass Incorporated
Prior to WWII, we produced many innovative, patented products such as the first American-made spherical joints, glass fritted filters, and the first precision bore glass stirrers, Trubore. To accommodate our growing business, we soon relocated to a larger facility, upon whose grounds we've expanded our manufacturing and warehouse facilities several times.
The decision to move was a timely one, as much of our expanded capacity was soon needed to supply the scientists working at a top secret project, now known as the Manhattan Project.
In 1950, Ace determined that we needed to better serve our customers in the middle and western sections of the country. To that end, we established a branch manufacturing and warehouse division in Louisville, KY. Like our Vineland location, our branch facility has been expanded and upgraded throughout the years.
Other innovations we've brought to the industry include the patented, fused-to-glass heater, Instatherm, the first standardized glassware for Photochemistry, internally threaded glassware, and the development and expansion of a large line of reaction and Pilot Plant apparatus.
In addition to the perpetual development and manufacture of Ace products, we are a Corning Glassware Dealer and have continually added a wide range of lab accessories to our product line. These accessories include, Glas-Col mantles, a wide variety of stirrers, vacuum pumps, rotary evaporators, temperature controllers, and heating and refrigeration chillers among many other items.
As we close in upon our 70th year of serving the international community of research and industrial chemists, we are determined to provide continued innovation, quality and customer support which is unparalleled in the industry.
