Accurate sizing of intact monoclonal antibodies remains a persistent challenge due to their complex higher-order structures, often limiting confidence in quality control analyses. Integrating the NIST monoclonal antibody reference material (RM 8671) as a ladder within the Agilent ProteoAnalyzer workflow offers a practical path to improved measurement reliability. By anchoring sizing analysis to a well-characterized standard, variability is reduced, and confidence in molecular weight determination increases even for nonreduced mAbs.
