Advanced technology for high-resolution 3-D microscopy is suited for applications in investigative pathology and features VT/Vue Software applications, as well as 2-D and 3-D viewing features. The product allows volume visualization of blood vessels and cell populations, as well as precise measurements of cell population dimensions. The system also offers precise cell counts and analysis of fluorescent probe-labeled cells.
The system runs on Windows NT operating systems, and provides full resolution pan/zoom, computed hematoxylin and eosin stain options, independent adjustment of stain components, and point-to-point precision measurement. It also features continuously adjustable three-axis cut planes, 3-D crop and zoom with true magnification, adjustable directional light source, and interchannel subtraction of up to four color channels. Additionally, the product offers a thresholding tool, alpha transparency tool, and running void volume computation.
