Plasmid Maps and Components for TaKaRa Chaperone Plasmid Set

Source: Takara Mirus Bio
The Chaperone Plasmid Set consists of 5 different plasmids, each of which is designed to express multiple molecular charperones that function as a "chaperone team" to enable protein folding. It has been reported that coexpression of a target protein with one of these chaperone teams increases recovery of proteins in the soluble fraction. The plasmids carry an origin of replication derived from pACYC and a Cmr gene, which allows use with E. coli expression systems utilizing ColE1-type plasmids with an ampicillin resistance gene as a marker.
