If you ship pharmaceutical samples to licensed practitioners and hospital pharmacies, FedEx TranSmart® is a robust, reliable tool that helps you comply with Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) rules issued by the FDA — without any capital investment. With this secure, password-protected online system, you can run a variety of reports required by FDA standards and view proof-of-delivery signatures for up to three years after the ship date. All you have to do is send your pharmaceutical samples to your recipients via FedEx Express or FedEx Ground services, then upload the shipping files to the FedEx TranSmart website. Then we’ll handle the details:

• Upon delivery, our driver captures the recipient’s signature for proof of delivery.
• We match the proof-of-delivery signature with the original shipping file you uploaded.
• Your recipient completes a package-content Acknowledgement of Contents (AOC) and returns it to us.
• We match the signed AOC to the original shipping file.
• We store and manage final delivery records and AOC images on the secure website.

All signature data is validated by an independent third party to ensure consistency and accuracy. This efficient process connects all of the data for you, so you can focus on managing the information the way that works best for you. Sort and run queries by state, recipient or date; and further narrow your queries by pickup date, delivery date, proof-of-delivery signatures, AOC, in-transit status and even your own reference fields. You can also add your own comments to provide additional details.
