Presentation: VOLUME Fractions In Chemometric Calibration
Source: Pittcon 2015
- The values for C are coefficients that tell us the fractional contribution of each pure component spectrum to the mixture spectrum.
- It’s an “absolute” method that does not require a conventional “calibration” step to provide analytical answers.
- The coefficients only relate spectra to spectra, but do not in themselves provide a link to the physical characteristics of samples.
