Dark Reader is a transilluminator that features zero UV output with no risk of sunburn or eye damage. The product reduces the dangers associated with the UV light, and uses visible light to detect fluorophors such as SYBR Green, ethidium bromide, fluorescein, GFPs, SYPRO Orange, and AttoPhos. The transilluminator also offers no damage to DNA samples, as well as the ability to detect 100 pg of DNA by eye.
