This unit has been designed for strain measurement on soft tissue samples and

The contact force is adjustable to 1 gram per extensometer arm, and no dies or marks are put on the specimen. This system has a maximum travel range of ±1.25 mm over a gage length of 5 mm, and the strain range is ±25%.
