The RKN thermal pallet shipper is ideal for transporting temperature-sensitive cargo such as pharmaceuticals, biomedical products, electronic devices and other high value perishable items in hot or cold environments. For over three years, the RKN has successfully transported tens of thousands of shipments with no recorded product loss providing customers the confidence needed for their cold chain shipments.

The RKN is the only compressordriven refrigeration unit of its kind approved by both the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The RKN utilizes ThermoCor® high performance insulation along with high efficiency refrigeration and heating systems for precise control of temperature-sensitive shipments. This robust insulation and its thermal capabilities provide an environment that will withstand extended hold times on the tarmac, extreme temperature exposure and delays in routing and transit. The extended battery operation (over 100 hrs) and precise temperature management (ranges of 4-25ºC) provide the customer with the confidence needed when faced with an unpredictable situations during the air transport of sensitive cargo.
