The KEM-Prep reactor consists of a therostated base with range from –100° to 130°C that holds 24 glass reaction tubes. A cover fits over and around each of the reaction tubes that condenses solvent when reactions are refluxed and, when swept with argon, creates an inert atmosphere. Septumed positions in the cover allow sampling and addition to individual reactions while maintaining an inert atmosphere.
