VHP M100X Integrated Open Loop Systems Datasheet

Source: STERIS Corporation

STERIS' VHP M100X Open Loop System provides a flexible, safe, environmentally friendly method for continuous decontamination of larger spaces such as clean rooms, production filling line isolators, food and beverage lines, animal holding rooms, biological (BL2, BL3, BL4) safety labs, and pass-through chambers. The Open Loop is designed for "single-pass" peroxide injection and airflow. An Open-loop system can be integrated with the facility as a utility to produce shorter cycle times.

How The VHP M100X Biodecontamination Open Loop System Works
STERIS' VHP M100X Biodecontamination System utilizes Vaprox® Sterilant (EPA Reg. No. 58779-4) as a means of achieving dry, low temperature sterilization within large sealed enclosures such as cleanrooms and filling lines. The dry, gaseous process consists of four distinct phases:

Dehumidification - Humidity is removed from the room space via an integrated desiccant system. This is done to ensure that a true, dry biodecontamination process is achieved.

Conditioning - Vaprox is rapidly injected by the generator and converted into a dry vapor that quickly raises the level of hydrogen peroxide to an effective concentration.
