SciVario® Twin Self-Scale-Up Of CHO Culture-Based Antibody Production From BioBLU® 3c To BioBLU® 50c Single-Use Bioreactor

With the SciVario twin, such a self-scale-up process is possible in a range from 0.2 L to 40 L and has the advantage of precisely controlling and comparing the process parameters amongst varying scales. Explore a study aimed at demonstrating the feasibility of scaling up CHO culture-based antibody production from 3 L to 30 L using single-use bioreactors without using multiple controllers or managing turnover with multiple runs. The study analyzed the cell growth, viability, and metabolic activity (levels of glucose, lactate, and ammonia in the medium) in both bioreactors.
