IL-3 is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by activated T-cells, but it is also produced by mast cells and monocytes.
IL-3 is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by activated T-cells, but it is also produced by mast cells and monocytes. IL-3 supports the proliferation and development of a wide range of hematopoietic progenitor cells, as well as the differentiation of early non lineage committed hematopoietic progenitors into colonies of granulocytes, macrophages, erythroid cells, megakaryocytes, and mast cells. Recombinant Human IL-3 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 133 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 15 kDa.
