The 949 system incorporates the eagerly awaited adaptation of the 928 system software to allow the output from one or two 781 meters to be recorded on a PC. It comprises a small interface unit, which connects to one or two 781 meters. The output from the interface goes directly to your computer.
The software is virtually identical to the 928 system software. The only difference is that you will only see 1 or 2 traces displayed rather than 6, and that there are minor changes to the electrode calibration procedure.
A comprehensive, easy to follow, instruction manual is supplied, which will be particularly valuable to anyone who is not familiar with respirometry work. If you would like to see simulations of the software in action, please ask for a 928 demo disk. We may bring out a separate 949 demo disk in the future, if customers customers feel that this would be advantageous.
