It has the ability to automatically monitor DNA fragment ends during cutting and pasting graphical representations of constructs. The Chronography feature tracks the history of any given DNA segment and maintains alternative views. This software allows the usr to view electrophoresis patterns for different constructs on the same gel, including partial digests. With this software, one can also define thickness, pattern, shape, direction, and color for each DNA segment. Enzymes can be marked by how many times they cut, by the kind of cut they create, or by whether or not they cut within a specific segment. It also has a file searching module that provides sophisticated database-like capabilities.
