Phillips-Medisize To Participate In Panel At Partnership Opportunities In Drug Delivery (PODD)
Hudson, WI - Phillips-Medisize Corporation, is once again a sponsor and will present during a panel discussion at the upcoming Partnership Opportunities in Drug Delivery (PODD) conference in Boston, MA.
Bill Welch, Chief Technology Officer, will participate in the ‘Device Strategies and Solutions for High Volume/High Viscosity Drugs’ panel discussion on Friday, October 28 at 10:00 a.m. During this session, Mr. Welch, along with other panelists will discuss strategies and solutions for the challenges of delivering high volume/high viscosity drugs.
“When manufacturers are creating a drug delivery device, the patient’s needs should be evaluated along with the requirements of the biologic or chemical molecule to ensure the device is designed to comfortably deliver medication while maintaining safety and efficacy,” commented Bill Welch, Chief Technology Officer. “These insights, coupled with technological advances in manufacturing processes and human-centered design, are core to overcoming the challenges of delivering these lifesaving drugs.”
The PODD conference brings together leaders in the pharma/biotech industry for networking and presentations on the latest drug delivery technologies, as well as insights on delivery and formulation needs. The ultimate goal of the conference is to inspire innovation and advancement of drug development and delivery.
