TFF Pilot System: NovaSet™-LS Pilot System

All-in-one bioprocessing convenience pilot cassette system for 150 mL to 2 L biopharmaceutical samples. Filtration device for separation of biomolecules (e.g. monoclonal antibodies) and especially for pre-concentration/ clarification and UF/DF filtration steps in downstream processing.

The NovaSet™-LS Pilot System is a completely sanitary "turnkey" solution with all hardware components required to begin processing: a 316 L Stainless Steel holder with welded flanges designed for quick-disconnect fittings (included), 2 L reservoir, and variable-speed peristaltic pump preassembled onto a 304 L Stainless Steel support frame. The sanitary design of the NovaSet™-LS Pilot System features a holder that is steam-sterilizable or autoclavable, providing aseptic processing capability.

The system's small footprint design places all controls and fittings within easy reach of the operator permitting quick bench top installation and simple operation. For use with NovaSet™-LS high performance membrane cassettes, sample volumes up to 20 liters can be processed down to approximately = 50 mL, satisfying the low hold-up volume requirements of the pilot scale engineer. Feed sample is conveniently added to the 2 L Stainless Steel reservoir, which has a specially engineered conical design to facilitate gentle processing of the most sensitive biomolecules.

The NovaSet™-LS Pilot Holder, accessories and sanitary fittings package provides an economical choice for the researcher who wants enhanced sanitary TFF processing performance and requires a custom system layout or already has an appropriate peristaltic pump and other equipment. Tri-clover clamp fittings allow connections to be made easily between the holder and supporting equipment.
