Rheodyne's nano-scale "Mighty Valve" ("MV") series offers instrument designers three dependable, economical, motorized, two-position platforms.

The MV series of nano-scale fluidic platforms offer a miniature package for all the common 2-position, 6-port applications, for example:

  • Sample injection
  • Two-column selection
  • Column backflushing
  • MS diversion
  • Sample cleanup
  • Alternating column regeneration
  • High speed sample enrichment

The footprint of all Rheodyne Nano MV models is the smallest of any high-pressure nano-scale valve anywhere. At less than one-half the size of valves with considerably lower performance, Rheodyne's nano valves offer designers a fluidic platform rated at 34 MPa (345 bar, 5000 psi). All Rheodyne nano-scale valves are offered in biocompatible DuraLife II.

The creative design of the Nano MV series is reflected in innovations such as flex circuit electronics, Hall effect sensors, and a single-piece molded housing. An industry standard 9-pin connector mounted directly to the molded housing allows all Nano MVs to plug directly into a driver board, thus eliminating a wire harness and reducing manufacturer cost.

The field-proven, dependable roller-crank actuator design of all Nano MV models has been used in Rheodyne products for years and is well-established as the industry standard for 2-position valve actuation. Improved actuator arm materials provide millions of duty cycles without substantial wear.

10 nL Internal Loop Nano-Scale Injector: The 10 nL internal loop sample injector with DuraLife™ processed stator provides very low port-to-port volume. The exceptionally low dispersion gives instrument manufacturers an innovative tool to respond to the challenges of market demands for higher sensitivity and smaller, nano-scale sample volumes.

2-Position, 6-Port Nano-Scale Switching Valve: Rheodyne's high-pressure, nano-scale 2-position, 6-port switching valve offers OEMs a low 25 nL port-to-port volume, DuraLife™ II processed stator, ultra-low dispersion characteristics, and a compact package offering the smallest fluid flow management footprint available.

2-Position, 10-Port Nano-Scale Switching Valve: Rheodyne's high-pressure, nano-scale two-position, ten-port switching valve offers OEMs a 22 nL port-to-port volume, DuraLife II processed stator, ultra-low dispersion characteristics, and a compact package, offering the smallest fluid flow management footprint available.
