Medicel Inline HPLC enables the automated analysis of main metabolites and nutrients that are present in the cultivation medium. A sample from a cell culture is pumped through a crossflow filter and analyzed with an isocratic HPLC system and a RI detector. The modular design supports the use of different separation columns and detectors. For example, concentrations of glucose, glycerol, acetate and ethanol can be measured approximately in five minutes from a yeast cultivation medium.
