The anti-D4-GDI mAb is a reagent for multiple applications, including ELISA, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry. Cleavage of D4-GDI gives a measure of apoptosis as the intact protein (28 kD) negatively regulates the ras family of Rho GTPases that promote apoptosis. The monoclonal antibody is ideal for detecting caspase dependent apoptosis. The anti-cleavage specific D5-GDI mAB also offers high sensitivity, allowing sensitivity for detection of the cleaved 23kDa fragment to be higher. Additional features are convenience, allowing detection of apoptotic cells using a one-step method, and a high-affinity reagent giving exceptionally clean results that are not reproducible.
