LabOnWeb Proprietary Data

The LabOnWeb service consists of a combination of several applications, research algorithms, life science tools and proprietary data. LabOnWeb is applied to user input to generate information about the given sequence. LabOnWeb mines Compugen's proprietary LEADS transcript database for sequences highly similar to the submitted query. The LEADS database is compiled from a combination of public and proprietary expression data from various sources, using high-level data integrity and assembly tools. The LabOnWeb output includes any available extension to the query sequence, from both the 5' and the 3' ends, as well as the list and sequence of putative splice variants derived from the same gene. In addition, the LabOnWeb service includes expression data, mapping information, and similarity searches based on public and proprietary databases.
