Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography Resin

HydrophobicInteractionChromatographyMedia.jpg

Resin are designed specifically for intermediate purification steps that remove host-cell contaminants from partially purified targets using strong or weak hydrophobic interactions. Methacrylate-based beads for protein and nucleic acid purification using hydrophobic interactions are available for purifying compounds that have weak or strong hydrophobic regions.

Macro-Prep Methyl HIC Resin
Macro-Prep hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) resin are methacrylate-based, 50 µm beads used for protein, polypeptide, enzyme, and nucleic acid purification. They are designed specifically for interresinte purification steps that remove host-cell contaminants from partially purified targets. Due to their rigidity and unique surface chemistry, these resin are particularly suited for HIC operations requiring high throughput and high recovery of target.

Macro-Prep t-Butyl HIC Resin
Macro-Prep hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) resin are methacrylate-based, 50 µm beads used for protein, polypeptide, enzyme, and nucleic acid purification. They are designed specifically for interresinte purification steps that remove host-cell contaminants from partially purified targets. Due to their rigidity and unique surface chemistry, these resin are particularly suited for HIC operations requiring high throughput and high recovery of target.

Bio-Beads SM-2 Adsorbents
Bio-Beads SM-2 nonpolar polystyrene adsorbents are analytical grade, neutral macroporous polymeric beads for use in hydrophobic interaction chromatography. They have a high surface area for adsorbing organics with MW <2,000 from aqueous solutions. These beads can be used in aqueous solution and with solvents including alcohols, petroleum ether, diethyl ether, and hexane, or with solvent mixtures, without expansion or contraction of the beads.
