The KEM-Prep reactor was designed for solution phase parallel synthesis and runs 24 reactions in 50 ml glass reaction tubes. Each tube fits into a heated pocket in the base of the reactor and passes through a cooled condensation plate at the top. The entire reactor is surrounded by a septumed inert gas cover, which allows for the heating, cooling, and refluxing of reactions, additions of reagents and sampling of individual reactions.
