Four generators are available specifically for laboratory applications. The chromatographic nitrogen generator provides makeup gas for trace analysis in electron capture detection applications. This generator can supply up to 1000 ml per minute of high-purity nitrogen makeup gas, characterized by flat baseline performance under high-sensitivity ECD analysis. The laboratory nitrogen generator uses house-compressed air, requires no electricity, and has no moving parts. This system was engineered for flow rates from 6 to 399 scfh as well as low maintenance and easy operation, according to the company.

The 9000 series ultra-high-purity hydrogen generators are used for on-site, on demand sources of hydrogen for flame ionization, flame photometric, and electrolytic conducting gas chromatography detectors. These generators have an SPE Electrolyzer cell that uses a solid polymer rather than a liquid electrolyte. Finally the zero air generators produce a continuous flow of air from an existing compressed air supply. They are said to reduce the total hydrocarbon content to less than 0.1 ppm and produce stable baselines for reproducible GC-FID analysis.
