Evolving A Global Document And Knowledge Management Solution At Arizona Chemical

Source: NextDocs Corporation

Like any process manufacturing organization, Arizona Chemical had amassed a huge number of documents detailing the processes and procedures central to its operations. And, like many such organizations, it was discovering that access to and distribution of these documents had become difficult. Internal authors used different tools to create the documents and stored them in separate repositories around the world—making it nearly impossible for anyone but the authors to find them. Arizona Chemical executives knew they needed to solve this problem, but wanted to solve it as part of a global knowledge management initiative that would make it easier to capture and use all of the company’s documents and collaboration efforts. For its knowledge management platform, Arizona Chemical chose Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. To manage its critical compliance documents, it chose the NextDocs Standard Operating Procedures Management Module solution, which runs on top of Microsoft SharePoint Server.
