versus the expected concentration yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.99. Recovery : Recovery of IFNy added to pooled normal serum is 96.7% (89.7 % to 107%) for IFNy
concentrations ranging from 400 to 12.5 pg/ml
PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD The IFNy Kit is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno- Sorbent Assay (ELISA). A monoclonal antibody specific for IFNy has been coated onto the wells of the microtiter strips provided. The antigen and a biotinylated monoclonal antibody specific for IFNy are simultaneously incubated. Revelation step includes Streptavidin-Horse Radish peroxidase and TMB as chromogen.
