The first routine/educational microscope to incorporate Nikon's renowned CFI60 optical system

The result is stunningly sharp and clear image at any magnification. In a major redesign and upgrade from the previous model, the Eclipse E200 is a built-to-last, top- quality biological microscope ideal for basic laboratory use or educational purposes. Of course, the Eclipse E200 maintains the same operational ease and rigidity common to all Nikon microscopes and is compatible with many accessories for higher-grade Eclipse series microscopes.

Crystal-clear image, thanks to CFI60 optics

CFI60 optics combine Nikon's renowned CF optics with infinity optics to produce breathtakingly sharp and clear image hitherto only available with more expensive models, while providing longer working distances and higher N.A.'s.

The E200 provides a wide selection of objectives to choose from, including the new CFI E Plan Achromat objectives specially developed for the E200 in addition to other higher-grade Eclipse series objectives.

Anti-mold design

Is mold a problem? Not any more. By using anti-mold paint and sealing anti-mold agent inside, the E200 is designed for use even in hot and humid environments.

Ergonomically designed

The focus knob and the stage handle are positioned equidistant from the operator, allowing use without twisting the shoulders. Also, the stage handle and fine focus knob can be operated with one hand. And because these controls are in a low position, users can rest their arms on the desk while working. The renovated stage is easy to use and the low inclination of the eyepiece tube provides easy viewing. Additionally, the CFI60 optics create ample space around the objectives, while the reversed-type nosepiece is easy to rotate.

The Siedentopf-type eyepiece tube is inclined at 30 degrees to ensure comfortable viewing in a natural posture. Designed for use by operators with different builds, this eyepiece tube has a narrow minimum interpupillary distance of 47mm, while the eyepoint height can be raised 34mm when interpupillary distance is 64mm by simply swinging the front part of the eyepiece tube up 180 ° .
