In this work we have conducted studies comparing two of the leading disposables benchtop bioreactors in order to be used interchangeably with glass benchtop bioreactors based on client request. Mass transfer capabilites were determined based on kLa resulting from slightly different geometries and impeller designs. Fed batch studies were executed with a CHO cell line expressing an IgG.
