Source: bio-optronics

Organization Description
Accel Clinical Services is a network of three clinical trial sites based in Florida and Alabama. Between their three locations, they conduct studies in a wide range of therapeutic areas including endocrinology, rheumatology, infectious diseases, pulmonary, vaccines, gastroenterology, women’s health and many others. On average, Accel Clinical Services conducts approximately 100 studies.

The Problems
Patient recruitment is the key to the success of any clinical trial. The responsibility of ensuring that all of Accel Clinical Services’ 100+ trials are fully enrolled falls to Kimberly Mantuano, Manager of Patient Recruitment and Marketing. “We were using another CTMS system to aide us with our patient recruitment efforts, but it was still forcing us to complete a lot of the tasks manually,” said Kimberly. Kimberly and the rest of the patient recruitment team faced several problems when it came to managing their recruitment efforts.
