N/Aeries of antibodies, available in bulk or trial sizes, recognizes members of the Bcl-2 family, including Bcl-2, Bax, and Bcl-XL. Bax is a 21 kDa protein found in eukaryotic cells, where it plays a role in apoptosis. Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL, 26 and 28 kDa proteins respectively, are associated with cell survival. Varieties of anti-Bax, anti-Bcl-2, and anti-Bcl-XL recognize proteins in humans, rats, and mice. A mouse panel is provided with specificity for mouse proteins, as well as a human panel with specificity to human proteins.
