"PSIYCLONE" BAC DNA Isolation Kits provide high quality, high purity BAC DNA using a simple spin column procedure.
"PSIYCLONE" BAC DNA Isolation Kits utilize an alkaline lysis protocol and contain a high capacity, highly efficient, hydrophilic non-silica anion exchange resin. No enzyme treatments or organic extractions are required. The purified BAC DNA is template quality, suitable for running sequencing reactions and biochemical characterizations (e. g. PCR or restriction digests).
"Mini BAC" for yields up to 1.0 µg BAC DNA from 3–5 mL Terrific Broth culture (25 x 5 mL preps, per kit)
"Big BAC" for yields up to 25 µg BAC DNA from up to 250 mL LB culture (5 x 50 mL preps, per kit).
