By Ken Lownie, VP of Customer Success, Everteam

Each quarter, Everteam conducts a survey about records management and archiving. In the third quarter of 2016, focusing on life sciences, we asked questions about where companies are storing the records and content created by their production applications.

The goal of the survey was to understand whether life sciences organizations tend to store records produced by their Electronic Trial Management System (eTMF), Quality Management System (QMS), and Electronic Common Technical Document (eCTD) systems within those systems or did they offload inactive records and store them in an external repository. We learned that practices differ substantially from company to company.
