The SterilGARD III Advance° Waste Disposal Unit permits routine microbiological and cage cleaning functions while providing ergonomic benefits and containment. Providing protection for personnel, animals, and the environment, the unit provides safety and project flexibility in the animal research laboratory. It offers an integrated receptacle for waste disposal; flush-mounted cover, that permits use in other biological safety cabinet applications; UniPressure Preflow plenum, high velocity return air slots and HEPA supply and exhaust filters that provide containment.

The product's air curtain contains particulates within the work area and inhibits migration of room air into work area, and a 10° slanted viewscreen permits enhanced product viewing. The adaptive ergonomic design combined with continuously adjustable mobile lift for worksurface heights of 21 3/8-in to 40 5/8-in provides maximum operator comfort, increased productivity, and reduced fatigue. The electric/hydraulic lift system allows for increased mobility by lowering height and center of gravity; locks in place when power is removed.
