Cayman's resin is used for the purification of 8-Isoprostane (8-iso PGF2a) from urine and plasma samples.
Cayman's resin is used for the purification of 8-Isoprostane (8-iso PGF2a) from urine and plasma samples. Each vial contains 1 ml of 8-Isoprostane affinity sorbent, which is capable of binding approximately 10 ng of 8-Isoprostane. This is also available in 4 ml and 20 ml columns. 8-Isoprostane is a potent pulmonary and renal vasoconstrictor and has been implicated as a causative mediator of hepatorenal syndrome and pulmonary oxygen toxicity, and as a marker of antioxidant activity.
