You can also use the 5mm Coaxial Insert in variable temperature experiments. Its Pyrex insert and spacer remain compatible with the outer tube, unlike systems using plastic parts.
Use the insert with 7 inch thin wall 5mm OD tubes 506-PP or higher in quality. Order an insert and two spacers separately. Or order a complete set with the insert joined at the bottom to a 507-PP outer tube.
